Look, we all know that some of us are destined to lose our hair, well that was before we could treat it. But you understand where I’m going with this, if your father and grandfather have gone bald, chances our you’re out of luck too.

What if your parents or grand parents were never bald? Why are you still losing your hair? Can my general health impact this?

Absolutely it can!

In this article we’re just going to cover how your diet can help or take away your hair, in reality there could be many reasons but being healthy will give you a much better chance than if you were unhealthy.

Look at the facts, hair is composed of Keratin, which is a form of protein. If your body is not taking in enough protein than chances are your hair will suffer. Any healthy diet will have a good source of protein, you need to be hitting your daily minimums, this depends on your build which you will need to do you own research.

A lack of iron has also been linked to hair shedding, a great way to test what you’re putting into your body is to write down everything you eat for a week, this isn’t a weight loss diet plan or anything like that. After a week has passed sit down and work out the nutritional value of the foods you’re eating, this will take some time but it will be worth it!

Once you have this you can correct where you are going wrong, wait a month and see if you are still experiencing hair loss, or has your hair got stronger and fuller?
